Q: Where is CityWeather's main station located?
A: Toronto
Q: I read CityWeather's blog everyday. Most interesting. But is there a way that we can request another city?
A: Of course, just email city.weather@yahoo.ca and request the city you wish to read about.
Q: Where did you grow up and why are you so interested in weather?
A: Toronto, Ontario is my hometown. I love the weather...it is a huge part of life. You see, I love nature, parks and conservations and weather is a huge part. Health and nature are also my specialties.
You can continue to send those emails to city.weather@yahoo.ca
Secondly-the meeting. On Monday we had a meeting in regards to the blogs. Those two blogs "CityHealth" and the "JUMP and WAVE..." will soon be removed. We are actually planning to start a site. A site with various blogs and information. So you'll want to stay tuned with that. Details soon in regards to the site. If you have a request for a blog, please email me at city.weather@yahoo.ca with BLOG IDEAS in the subject line.
Also, we want you to get involved too! Later this week I'll have details on a meeting that YOU can participate it.
And calendars marked because August 15 is another Weather Data Day.
Also, we are UPDATING the blog!!! Follow the blog footsteps of construction and improvement. Go to www.cw-dc.blogspot.com and check it often for more ideas.
Lastly, this week. None of my blogs yet are on weather this week, so here we go.
TORONTO:
The week is looking, well...alright....
Today, Wednesday and Thursday is partly cloudy with highs of 26C, 27C, 29C. Friday has some rain called for with a high of 29C. Friday is going to really be humid with the rain and heat.
Also I hear the term heat wave getting tossed around when it gets a little warm. There is a heat wave criteria. There must be at least three straight days where the temperature reaches 32C to qualify as a heat wave.
If you have a weather question email me at city.weather@yahoo.ca
Also, if you have a weather link send it to city.weather@yahoo.ca so I can put it on my "Link it Up" blog.
